On the 14th day of the month during the waxing phase of the Lunar cycle in the Phalguna month. Shivaratri Festival is celebrated on a moonless night or New Moon. On this day, the planetary positions in the Northern hemisphere act as potent catalysts to help a person raise his or her spiritual energy more easily to allow more blessings and abundance.
